This Rare perhaps one of a kind Boutique/Couture Etruscan Design gold tone necklace with pocket pendant was personally designed by Pauline Rader in New York City in the 1960's.

The story goes that Pauline's father was a famous New York Jeweler and his daughter would create one of a kind pieces for the models to wear/borrow at the boutique/couture fashion shows in New York.

The double chain is 16 inches long with attached pocket pendant measuring 4 inches long by 1-1/8 inches wide and a 1/4 inch thick. It has an intricate Etruscan design in relief on the front and an equally pretty design on the back. The chain also has a etched design running through the links. It is appropriately marked Pauline Rader. Three chain tassels complete the design.

This necklace is nicely done and has a good weight to it and in excellent condition.
